Our choice of music is selected to reflect the tone of each event, so we first provide a personal consultation to establish the aims of your occasion and the types of guest, and decide a suitable set of music. Through this consultation, you can be sure that your event will be a delightful and memorable occasion.

The singers

The Mayfair Mints have been carefully hand-picked by director-singer Leonora Dawson-Bowling. Between us, we have studied across the prestigious UK music colleges and performed at exclusive venues including the Ritz Hotel, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Fortnum and Mason. We are usually a quintet or an octet but can take requests for smaller or larger groups into consideration.

Beyond the fine quality singing, the Mayfair Mints have that little extra something that makes us perfect for the different requirements of important occasions:

We can switch easily between beautiful choral singing, large opera solos, and light jazz arrangements, pop songs and show tunes.

We perform with a true sense of zest, emotion and communication which will engage with your guests. (We are, however, also happy to provide low key background music that adds subtle ambience to the occasion.)

We have a large and diverse repertoire of music that we would be delighted to perform at your event. We are also open to particular requests – an old favourite, a piece with particular meaning or a unique especially composed piece.

No-commitment consultation

If you are interested in finding out more about using us for your event, we offer an initial no-commitment 10- to 15-minute personal consultation by phone. Simply fill in the contact form. We will then be in touch to arrange this consultation which we will use to gain a sense of your requirements.

Every event is different. So we will discuss your event and establish your vision for it and how we can best match it within our wide-ranging repertoire. We will give you a sense of possible styles and pieces we would perform to enhance your occasion, consider the likely length of the performance, if the music is background or a centre-stage performance and whether you would like a bespoke piece written, as well as discussing the practicalities of the event setting.

It may be that you already have a strong idea of the music you would like. It may be that you just want to add some stylish sophistication to your event but don’t want to be weighed down with details – you just want to tell us briefly about the event and then confidently leave us to provide the final polished musical product without another thought.

When we’ve established your requirements and outlined a programme which fits well with your vision, we can confirm our quote for the event.

Booking us

If you continue on to book us, once the contract is signed and deposit received, we provide a further consultation (by phone or in person) as needed to establish any final specifics and practicalities. We will reconfirm the details in writing, leaving you confident everything will run beautifully smoothly.
